Now that you have read The Outsiders, and watched the film, which version do you prefer? Explain. Please refrain from responses such as "I liked the movie better." Explain to the class what it was that you enjoyed about the movie or book over the other. What differences did you notice in the book that were not in the film? Pay attention to the timeline of events, and character interaction. Also, if you could edit any part of the film, which segment would you edit? How and why?
